Alton Mason Basketball Career |
Born: Aug.2, 1977 in Louisiana (USA)

Outlook:
He is quiet on the floor and rarely shows emotion, which makes him a favorite among fans. Alton is a top level point guard who can do a lot of everything. Alton is one of the best all around point guards in the country and has displayed his skills throughout his prolific college career in the prestigious Pac-10 conference. He has thoroughly outplayed the top point guards the Pac-10 has to offer and Alton will continue to dominate the opposition as a professional. Alton has great strength and quickness for a point guard and uses these attributes to get into the lane to score or dish off to an open teammate. Alton can easily create shots for himself but at the same time enjoys setting up his teammates for easy baskets. Alton has consistently maintained a very good assist-to-turnover ratio of 2-to-1 due to his great decision making ability and creative passing. Alton is also an explosive scorer who can fill it up in a hurry, as evidenced by the 18 points he scored in the final six minutes of a game against #4 ranked University of Arizona last year. Alton also is also a tremendous defensive player who has led Arizona State in steals all 3 years he played there. Alton is a great all around point guard who has a ceaseless work ethic and the drive to constantly improve to become the best player he can be.
