Telenet Oostende needed overtime to overcome the 12-point deficit from the opening leg and advance into semifinal stage of the FIBA Europe Cup after a nice 95-79 win vs. Enisey Krasnoyarsk. In the club history it's the third qualification for a semifinal in a European competiion (1999 and 2011). The game was mostly controlled by Telenet Oostende. Daniel Goethals (47) is next season coach of Belfius Mons-Hainaut. The former Belgian Lion and player of Telenet Ostend and Spirou Proximus Charleroi is currently in his third campaign as coach at Kangoeroes Willebroek Kangoeroes is for the moment a handsome fourth in the EuroMillions League. Yves Defraigne (51) has handed in his resignation as head coach of Belfius Mons-Hainaut which the club's management has accepted. Current assistant coach Frank Demeulemeester will take over head coaching duties until the end of the season. Yves Defraigne coached Mons from 1999 until 2005 and from 2012 until present.
