Gukentaj Eurobasket, Happy New Year to Eurobasket.com, players, coaches, staff and fans. Before I start, I want to thank God and Jesus for this opportunity to play the sport I love and be able to share it with you, the reader. This month overall has been good. My team, Monar Bar went 5-1 in some really close games. The hardest part for me has been the physical toll on my body. I took a real good beating this month going to the basket. This caused me to lose some sleep. The tossing and turning from the pain had me up late at night. With my style of fast and physical play I know I will have months like this. Athletes should endure pain anytime they look to be the best. If you dont, you're not working hard enough. Some games, blood should be leaking from somewhere. For me, the last two games I had blood leaking from both sides of my legs, from diving and getting bumped in the air and onto the floor. Thats the part of the game I love. Its no longer about basketball, its about whose tougher!!! On the court, I think Im the toughest man there is. The great NFL coach Vince Lombardi once said,Hurt is in the mind. I believe a true warrior blocks out pain and enjoys the suffering. Today I ask you about your job. Are you working the hardest? Are you fighting to be the best? Are you sacrificing your body, sleep and time to prove you are better than your competition? Heres the thing, you wont win all the battles. If you answered yes to the questions I asked, you will win most. In January, Monar Bar played well, going 5-1. We fought, sacrificed and stuck together in battle. We won most. You know who else won: THE NEW YORK GIANTS!!! Beating Atlanta, Greenbay and San Francisco. We were the underdogs in all 3 games. We are in the Super Bowl and everybody is saying we will lose this game as well. Im just proud to be a NEW YORK GIANT. We Bleed Blue.
Here are 3 cool facts about me: 1. Im the youngest of my mothers kids. I have 2 sisters and 1 brother.2. I collect cool looking rocks from different countries. 3. Im writing a book about the lessons of love.
Peace, Keem

Gukentaj Eurobasket, My name is Akeem Scott (186-PG-83, agency: Interperformances, college: High Point), Also known as Keem. That word Gukentaj is a made up word, I figure since everybody in the world can read this, why not make up my own language!
First, let me start by saying God is Good. He is my source and my strength in this amazing path he has giving me, while His one and only Son holds my hand. Im the Point Guard for the upcoming Jamaican National team (watch out for us we get better every year.) Currently Im a member of the 7-0 Montenegrin team call Monar Bar. Bar is a beautiful City surrounded by Mountains and a large mass of clear blue water. In between the water and the mountains is us, the people of Bar!! Yes US. Ever since I fell in love with this girl name Palacinke I will not shy away from being Montenegrin?:)
Monar Bar has the best President, best coaching staff and fans. The Head Coach is Mihajlo Pavicevic also known as Coach P. Toughest coach I ever played for. When He yells, I think I see Fire come out his mouth!!! Hes a Father first, everything he teaches in basketball it relates to life. He said to our team a couple weeks ago If you keep losing in PRACTICE, how could you ever Win in LIFE! quotes like this leads me to believe he cares about us as people. My team and I will fight hard every game to see him smile. Speaking of my team Monar Bar, We are young, very young but we know how to play hard. In the Locker room we sing Serbian songs, dance to Hip-hop and show each other respect. We are a family here in Bar. 7-0 in 1A Erste League, 3-2 in Balkan league. Good Season so far. As for me here are three cool facts you should know about me. 1.) I Love the New York Giants (NFL) 2.)My playstation name is Keem34 if you want to play me in Madden or NBA2k, Call of Duty. 3.) I Love you PALACINKEEEEEEEEEEEEE
God is Good. In Bar We stand as FAMILY! Keem.
