The match started at a slow pace, almost non-brilliant and Estonia led 11: 5 but after Jordanco Davitkov 's time-out, Macedonia scored three three points for which Aleksandar Kostoski (186-PG-88, agency: PEPI SPORT), Gjorgij Chekovski (203-PF-79) and Damjan Stojanovski (198-SG-87, agency: BeoBasket) were worthy and the first quarter finished with Macedonia's lead 18:16.

The second quarter started at the same pace with 3 points from Dime Tasovski (200-F-80). Although the opponent had a catastrophic shot for three points, Macedonian basketball players made many mistakes and lost balls, which resulted in a turn in the result. Macedonian team reached the highest 5 points advantage in the 16th minute of the match, while the percentage for the three shot was 62%. At the end of the last second of the quarter, Kostovski scored an incredible shot for 3 points from a half-court, with the first half of the match finishing 41:41.

They continued with the shots for 3 points in the third quarter, but they allowed many rebounds for the second chance of the opponent to be in large numbers, which in 30 minutes played the result was 55:54 for Macedonia.

The last quarter started with a lead for Estonia with + 4, so Jordanco Davitkov had no other choice and called a timeout. However, in the last 2 minutes Macedonia lost with -9 difference and Estonia celebrated victory with 74:65. Jordan Theodore (182-PG-89, college: Seton Hall) was the most effective with 19 points, Damjan Stojanovski with 18,10 Gjorgij Chekovski, 7 Dime Tasovski and 6 points for Aleksandar Kostoski.

As a result of the failure of the Macedonian basketball players, they will wait for Estonia to beat Kosovo by taking the 2nd place in the group and going on. If Kosovo wins, Macedonia's performance in China ends.
