Back on a roll - Jan 17, 2013
Hello basketball world. I hope everyone is doing well and enjoying all of this great basketball, that is being played all over the world. Well for our team, we are finally back on a roll with things. After the Christmas break, we struggled a little bit, due to the fact that we had one of our key players out with a shoulder injury. Even though we knew it was going to be tough, we had to find a way as a team to play without him and have others contribute to try to get us a victory. We fell short a couple of games, but we improved on some things that we needed to as a team, and learned how to execute without one of the key factors, and vocal leaders being on the court. Our other key player made his come back last week, after missing 5 games in league play. I must say, competing against top teams in the league without one of your key players was hard, but we did not go down without a fight. Now that he is back, we are back on a roll. we won our last two games, and are playing well as a team. When we play well as a team, and have our swag on the court, we are a hard team to beat. I believe we can compete, and challenge any team in the league. As for myself, I have taken my game to another level since the Christmas break. When I was home, I told myself when I returned to Finland, it is about to be a new Greg Logins, and for the people and fans that have been following our team and myself, they can see that I have changed as a player. I have taking everything to another level, and I am ready to continue to help my team rise to the top and continue to compete hard each night for the victory. That is all I have for now. Hello basketball world. The regular season in the Korisliiga league, has come to a end, and now the top 8 teams are preparing for the playoffs. Last two regular season games, I did not attend because I faced a small minor ankle injury, but now I am back healthy, and ready to take part again in the first round of playoffs tomorrow against Kataja. We have been focusing and practicing hard these past few days, and we are highly excited, and ready for this new season, which we approach it as the "playoffs". The only thing that matters in the books now, is the team that finish on the top and holds that trophy up, when the buzzer sounds on the final game. We look at it as we are 0-0 right now, and we are ready to battle. We will fight, and enjoy it while we are doing it. Individually, I am excited, and ready to play. The playoffs are the best part of a season, because the intensity, and energy is set to another level, which makes the games even more impressive and enjoyable. Hello basketball world. It has been a while since I posted a blog, so I figured today I would post something. This season has been long, and it is coming down to the last stretch of few games before the playoffs begin. Throughout the season thus far, we have faced some injuries along the way. We have had are ups and downs, but as a team, we have been sticking together and playing hard to the best of our abilities. As of now, our roster is starting to mesh back together. Guys are recovering well from nagging injuries. Although we are missing our inside veteran presence, Clifton Jones, we still continue to persue our game plans, as he maintains is rehab and is working on his route towards coming back for the playoffs. Within these next few games, we will continue to work hard, and improve our game as a team,to prepare for the playoffs. while coming off of a great team victory Friday night at Lahti with our roster back into full affect, I think that we are moving foward into a positive direction, and getting positive vibes within the players. We all will enjoy these last few games and play hard as a unit, with our principles as of namika style of play, which is a fast paced game, getting defensive stops, and having fun while doing so. Well that is all I have for now folks. I wish all of the players and coaches the best of luck, as we all make our runs within these last few regular season games.

Hello basketball fans. It has been a few weeks since I have posted a blog, so I figured I would take some time today to catch up. The last few weeks has been a little bit of a struggle for us as a team due to injuries, which caused use to lose a couple of games. I have stepped up as a player since the Christmas break, and tried to give more to the team in every aspect. For those who have seen, I really have stepped up in ever category, and helping the team out a lot. Due to the injuries that I have mentioned, it took a toll on us a little. Now this upcoming week, we will have everyone healthy and we are all ready to go to work. Even though we went through some bumps, we are still positive about things, and are ready to work and compete like we know we can. We have a full week to prepare and mesh back together as a team and get ready for our next game on Saturday night. There is still a lot of basketball to be played, and we as a team are staying positive and together to see great outcomes. I am happy that we will all be back together,12 deep and healthy, so that we can get back to playing our game. That is all I have for now. I hope everyone has a great day..
