I been an underdog my whole life and to tell you the truth I love it. A lot of people want and also like to write you off just for the hell of it. I believe that everybody was born with a purpose whether or not your broke, rich, poor, a loser, work a 9 to 5 or pursing your dreams. If you believe in anything you wish to believe in than most of the time they will come true with a little work ethic. I never had all the answers nor do I claim to have them. But merely through my experience overseas and through my life is all I can go by. A book I'm reading by a famous african american author Daniel Whyte III called Letters To Young Black Men: Advice and Encouragement For A Difficult Journey, says that winners always have everybody's undivided attention, but losers wait until its their time to talk. Which is so true.

A lot of people wrote us off this weekend against Kutaisi. Being as it is an away game and their crowd is probably the best in the league, it would be hard to say we could go in hostile territory and win. On game day I suffered food poison and I couldn't even lay down and relax without having to run to the bathroom. Literally from 8am to 2pm I couldn't keep anything down. To be honest Jehovah had to be tired of me praying, because I swear I prayed so many times to him so I could return to normal and play during this important game. Regardless though I had it made up in my mind that I was going to play this game, the team needed me and I wasn't going to sit on the side and watch. I come from a place where no excuses are recognized, never had a silver spoon, nor was I babied. You work for what you get, and if your a true basketball player that loves the game you will play through anything. For an examplein the 1970 NBA Finals in Game 7 Willis Reed the game before suffered a torn thigh muscle but willed himself back on the court to beat Wilt Chamberlain and his Lakers for the Knicks first championship ever. A lot of people don't understand where this will and focus come from because their life was shelter, fine and cozy. Due to me being weak and sick coach said he would only play me sparingly minutes and not start me this game. But during the warmups I told Badri our assistant coach that I couldn't watch and I need to be out on the floor. The rest is history. Down the stretch we all made real big plays to seal the game. Down by 2, Kutaisi search for a way to score. And as one of their players spinned, I stole the ball from the opposite side due to the fact the opponent didn't switch hands and I layed the ball up. That pretty much was the icing on the cake. I ended up with 19 points, 5 Rebs and 3 steals. We won 67 to 60. As a team we showed great effort as well as a great win, and put us at 6-1 on the season. Looking forward to another big game next weekend vs Armia at our home court. Should be an exciting game to attend.

I want to tell everybody out their that lacks confidence or needs a little pick me up at some point in another, that winning don't mean coming first but simply doing things you've never done. That makes a true winner. We all come from different walks of life but the will to beileve in something makes us come together as a people. Believers Never Die. Keep a lookout for my endorser 2DaHole new commercial and website coming soon. Slam Magazine we coming for you again haha.

Edward Scissorhands Lives In The Republic of Georgia- Apr.8, 2013  (by Nate)

Going into a fresh season all athletes set a few goals for themselves to accomplish by the end of the season. Some people might want to win a championship, others scoring title and for some just to make the playoffs. But for me I wanted to show the world that I'm an all around basketball player. I wanted to lead the league in steals this season. I worked hard this off season on man to man defense as well as trying to get a jump on every pass that's thrown in the air [read more]
Most People Love The Sun, But I Beg For Rain. This Is When I'm At My Very Best- Mar.19, 2013  (by Nate)

A lot of people shine only in the best opportunity that someone has given them, but very few people shine when the opportunity isn't the ideal nor typical situation. A great basketball player can turn any situation into a bright spot but many athletes don't posses this kind of character. If your back is against the wall and you have no where to go, will you knock down that wall and prosper against all odds or will you fall and crumble, complain or give up [read more]
