Hello world.. I am doing great as always, just relaxing this morning before practice. In my blog this time, I want to talk a little about my time here in Lappeeranta thus far. So far, so good. I'm enjoying every bit of my time. Whether it is in the gym getting better with my teammates, roaming the city, stepping out with my teammates, it is all going great.. As many people may know in Finland, Lappeeranta is a small city, but it is just big enough to enjoy your time here. For us American players, the city shows a lot of love and respect us. The people are always nice and do not mind at all to just hold a conversation with you. I believe it is always good to not ignore anyone here, because it makes them feel good that you take time to communicate with them and it also gives them a chance to work on there English, with a English first language speaking person. I also attended a church service, I must say, it was quite interesting. The people at the church where happy that us Americans attended the service, and it meant a lot to them. I thought it was a great idea that we went, because we could compare churches in America to the church here. It is a lot of nice kabab spots here in Lappeeranta also, which is so good. For those who are reading this blog, kabab is a type of pork, that is shredded into strips, which could be eaten with anything. I think that may be my favorite food here in Finland. Other than that, everything is great so far. This upcoming week, we have two games at home. We play Wednesday night against FokoPo and Friday night against Korihait. We started preparing Sunday for the opponents and we will be ready to compete. That is all I have for now. See ya
