Hello world. sorry its been a while, its been a long,long, long off season. From being in London for the Olympics to trying to be patience waiting to sign somewhere overseas. My time has come and i have signed here in Egypt, playing for Heliopolis Sporting Club in Cairo. Meet my teammates and everyone here is great, the team is taking care of me and my teammates and i are getting ready to set our goals high and have a good season. The higher your goals the more goals you achieve. It's a great feeling knowing where your playing and just focusing on the season. Now its time to get into that focus mode, dedication + hard work and lead from the front.

Yes there is protesting and I live in the city where the protesting is going on, not getting into politics but just let the world know that all imports are fine and safe. Wats up world! Firstly everything here in Egypt is fine, obviously the news and media have over hyped the situation here to being a war zone or something. Yes there is protesting and I live in the city where the protesting is going on, not getting into politics but just let the world know that all imports are fine and safe.
We are currently through to the next round, which will start next year, ending of Jan/Feb time. For now we are playing in a Cairo tournament and playing a lot of friendly games to get us prepared and ready for the second round where every game is import. Our goal is set high as a team, even though we are mostly young but we have good experienced players and a leader in myself. Things will not be easy, but nothing is easy in life, hard work pays off and we have been working hard through the tough times currently in Egypt with the protesting and the postponed games.
All my years as a pro, I have never really felt like a tourists, and never really did any tourist things, even though I have played in a lot of nice and different countries. But this time its different, especially with all the rich history here, from historical events that have happened here to historical buildings and monuments. Its easiest to get in the tourist spirit here. And a tourist is what il be during my time off basketball, cant wait.
Prayers goes out to all the families of victims in the Connecticut school shooting and every other senseless and mindless acts of violence that have gone on in the States and through the world.

I am optimistic about the new management I spoke to one of the board members today and discussed some issues with him about import players and setting some rules for the kind of players that clubs bring down here for example there must be minimum salary and experience in order to control the clubs not letting them register any one from any where just to fill the space also I proposed that we have 2 players in each team instead of 1 player that way the league will be much better and competition will be more tough any way that was a thought.
