Tough Days....- Dec.11, 2012 (by Eurobasket Center) It's been a while since I last wrote a blog. Pardon me I have been on some other stuff. But I'm back and around my way it's been a tough few weeks. 1-4 in our last five games dealing with more injuries and this French weather is no joke. Talk about highs and lows to start the season 6-0 and life is smooth then to go 1-4 your next 5 and seems like the world is crashing down. For me I know the season is long and you can't get to high or to low [read more]
It's been a while since I last wrote a blog. For me I know the season is long and you can't get to high or to low. Just keep clam know matter what's happening good or bad and keep working hard. I have told you about my first dislocated finger on my left ring finger a Little over a month ago. Well less then a week and a half ago I dislocated my right pinky finger which is my shooting hand so it's been an adjustment to say the least. Last ride game was the toughest for me in a long time. We played a back against the wall team that had 5 L's in a row and they wasn't gonna make it 6. We came out flat and they made shot after shot after tough shot. We found ourselves down 30 at the half fought back to cut it to 9 but we couldn't make it happen never again will I let this happen to me or my team again. When your winning people will say great things to and about you and when you lose they will make it seem like your the worst player to play the game and all this can happen in the same week or month. So if your going through a tough few games like me and my team or your on a great winning streak keep a level head don't let the outside praise or negativity get you to high or to low. Anyway next lets speak on how my lakers are having some tough day or months however you wanna look at it. I only have one word for you laker hates "KOBE" nuff said...lakers will be a ok come march and April..you never see Kobe get to low after getting beat by a team like the kings and he doesn't get to excited when being a good team like the ????? Haha wait anyway you get my point. I try to learn from the best. Congrats Kobe on joining the 30k club RESPECT!!!
Until Next time GOD BLESS and take care...chosen last but best pick.

So rest and treatment is in order. On the blight side we don't have a game for 12 days so the timing is on my side!! On another note winter is here and it's getting cold so it's time to go but the jacket, gloves and boots!!!

Win or go home- Oct.21, 2012 (by Eurobasket Center) Many players and all Americans know this and if you don't you will find out quick . The game brings all of "us" players joy and we love the it. But there are things that can be fixed and we can start with clubs giving up on the import players so quick. We all know the local players almost never get released. The first ones to go are the imports (players from a different country then he is playing in) weather your having a good season or not if your team is losing you will be the escape goat [read more]
Many players and all Americans know this and if you don't you will find out quick . The game brings all of "us" players joy and we love the it. But there are things that can be fixed and we can start with clubs giving up on the import players so quick. We all know the local players almost never get released. The first ones to go are the imports (players from a different country then he is playing in) weather your having a good season or not if your team is losing you will be the escape goat. They will find a loop hole in your contract to get out of paying and at the end of the day when a player knows the club doesn't want him there why put up a fight to stay. I had to go through this my first year in Finland. I had a one month try-out period everything was good I got by that I was playing well but my team was losing and mind you this team was coming off a winning season the year before and ended up losing in the championship round. So we start the season having cut the first PG we started training camp with. After 2 loses to start the season we again cut the PG. at this point I was worrying about my job. I look up and we are 0-5 and again we cut the American PG. now every practice every missed shot every game is replaying in my head wondering what I can fix. Going on the road and getting our first win was great but I knew we needed more wins after a home win and a 20 point 7 Rebs game things were looking up for the team and me. I was so wrong I got a TEXT saying they was bring in a more experience player. To make this story short the guy that took my spot on the team was released a month later and the American 5 man was also sent packing. Know local players were sent home. So back to my point. Many of these men and women have family's firing them at a drop of a dime could kill there family's and there career for first or second year players . The way clubs use loop holes and dumb reasons to change players need to be looked into by somebody. I just want to warn new players and players that don't know things like this does go on its not all preaches and cream like many on the outside looking in may think. Players cant just leave a team because they dont like the city or coach or whatever. Players have to deal with whatever is going on because if the player tries to leave the club they will not pay for the flight home they will not release the player so he can play on another team. So why should the club be allowed to do this so easily. With me saying that players look into player unions in the country you are playing in. They have your back because without you there is not a union so just look into it they are very helpful.....
ADA BLOIS we are 4-0 after a good road win. We play a French cup game on oct.23 wish us luck!!!
Until next time TAKE CARE and GOD BLESS.....chosen last but best pick!!!
