"POWER OF THE POSITIVE!!!" - Oct 24, 2012

  follow us on Facebook Twitter

I walked in the gym to shoot the ball for a couple of hours and heard someone call "SWEETMILK!" I had the pleasure of becoming acquainted with a local guy with a finnish basketball background. We established a rapport and we shared valuable insight. After shooting a few buckets and having a great time he made the comment "you're not the guy I thought you were." I asked him what did he mean by that and how did he formulate an opinion? He inferred that I was not the type of person he wanted to know but concluded that he was very glad to meet me. He looks to build on our friendship. He said he formulated his first opinion based on my blog. I smiled and relayed to him that my blog is nothing more than the expression of "power of the positive." It is mental practice personified. It lingers around the thought process of Babe Ruth calling his shot, or Satchel Paige having the infield sit down on a 3-2 pitch. When positives are accentuated but not exaggerated it allows for the future happenstance of recall of the positive to be brought into fruition today. For those who do not understand, when I do something good, I blow helium in my own balloon to elevate my entire state. When I begin to fall in elevation, I simply breathe some helium of my successes and that helps to me engage my opponents with a leg up. According to the gentleman I met this week, the words of my blog are fuel to my opponents fire. I already knew that, but I EMBRACE WAR! War soothes and pacifies my fire in the belly. For example:
it appears that coaches/ players strategy to triple team and full court man still can't stop "Sweet Milk" from getting 20 and 10. And if you played me straight up I would avg. 50 and we ALL know it!
