BK SOUZ Cassovia Kosice - BK Petrzalka 63:71 (17:7, 14:26, 19:16, 13:22)
Cassovia: Timkova 17, Mihalikova 14, Kulcsarova 12
Petrzalka: Vynuchalova 25, Palenikova 11, Krivosudska 9, Slezarikova 9
Cassovia Kosice started against BK Petrzalka in a great style. After the first quarter the hosts led by 10 points. But Petrzalka erased the deficit very quickly and after the second frame they were on top. The team could rely one more time on Vynuchalova. With no doubts she won the game to Petrzalka with 25 points. But she is on the team just temporarily therefore it's hard to evaluate Petrzalka's performances. The results of their first two games in Slovak Extraliga don't reflect the real strength and potential of the squad.

Good Angels Kosice - ZBK Poprad 124:13 (32:4, 27:0, 34:8, 31:1)
Good Angels: Helena Sverrisdottir (185-F/G-88, college: TCU) 35, Quigley 15, Krivacevic 14
Poprad: Simova 4
It seems Poprad is the weakest team in the league at the moment. The club struggles financially and their roster in build on junior players who haven't had an opportunity to practice as a real professional basketball team playing in the highest national league. On the other hand, Good Angels Kosice are the best Slovak club, they participate in Euroleague, the team is mostly made of import players with a lot of experiences from Euroleague, WNBA and NT's. To say that Poprad is just weaker than their opponents is totally incorrect. Kosice outscored Poprad 27:0 (!) in the second period. Poprad delivered just 13 points in 40 minutes. Unfortunately, that is not a performance worth National League and that is not a quality worth National League.

BKZ Levice - Piestanske Cajky 41:71 (17:20, 6:18, 10:26, 8:17)
Levice: Bacova 12, Kubusova 7, Belanska 6
Piestanske Cajky: Bartanusova 13, Malinkova 11, Krc-Turbova 10
Levice as well as Poprad belong among lower ranged teams in the league. In a home court defeat to Piestanske Cajky Bacova was the top scorer of the hosts. Cajky ran away from their rivals in the second quarter and managed 15-point lead till the break. Every time, someone else pulled the team offensively. Bartanusova, Malinkova and Krc-Turbova top scored for Piestanske Cajky and all got into double digits.

SBK Samorin - MBK Ruzomberok 55:68 (16:13, 10:16, 15:26, 14:13)
Ruzomberok: Parker 18, Holmes 15, Cernakova 13
SBK Samorin: Gyurcsi 11, Slamova 10, Sujova 10
Valiant SBK Samorin faced MBK Ruzomberok in the second round. The bronze team from previous season managed to keep themselves within touching distance till a half break. In the third frame Ruzomberok outscored SBK Samorin 26:15 and won by double digits. Parker, the new player on Ruzomberok's team chipped in 18 points in her premiere in Slovak Extraliga and become the top scorer of the match. Gyurcsiova who spend previous season in Ruzomberok, poured in 11 points for SBK Samorin.

SBS Ostrava - SKBD Rucon Spisska Nova Ves 72 81 (15:18, 17:24, 18:23, 22:16)
Ostrava: Pustejova 14, Sedlackova 11, Motycakova 9, Minarovicova 9
SNV: Letkova 24, Nagyova 15, Krnjetin 13
In the last game of the round Spisska Nova Ves travelled to Ostrava for another victory in the league. Pace of the game was quite fast. Ostrava kept the game very close but due to several missed lay-ups and critical moments of defence they let Spisska Nova Ves run away. The host even had a chance to tie the game but Spisska Nova Ves eased their way back into contest. Letkova shined for the guests with 24 points. With all players in rotation the Slovak club triumphed over Ostrava 81:82.
