Josh Simmons
Now enjoying their second day with the club, Josh Simmons (196-F-88, college: Ark.-Fort Smith) and Chris Ware (203-C-89, agency: SDJ Sports) will be an integral part of the team's success for Giurgiu this season. Simmons and Ware were two of the players that showcased their skills at the EuroCamp Dallas held this past summer and earned playing contracts in the process. Simmons is a great athlete and at 6'5 can run and finish with the best of them. He has professional playing experience in the NBA D-League as well as the CiBaCoPa League in Mexico where he averaged 17 points, 4 rebounds, and 4 assists while shooting an off the charts 71.4% for Coras de Tepic. Throughout his career, Simmons from the Houston area, has experience playing 3 positions, point, shooting guard, and small forward. He can handle and create as well as consistently knock down 3's. He will be one of the fan favorites for the band near the Danube that now carries the nickname Wolves.

Chris Ware is a 6'8 270lb PF/C out of Chicago that has the body to bang down low but also the soft touch to step out and knock down 3's. He's big and strong and not someone that easily posted up but also has the feet to challenge smaller opponents that he could in turn walk down to the box on the other end. Ware was a NJCAA D2 Champion, and a NJCAA D2 All-American 1st Team in 2010 at Lincoln. He also had successful stints at Pittsburgh State and Indiana Tech. The versatility of the two players covers all 5 positions on the floor for Giurgiu.
