Feels GREAT getting back on a winning track over here in New Zealand playing for the Auckland Pirates. After finishing up a roller coaster season in Melbourne and falling short of our goal of making the playoffs. I decided to follow Gods path and capitalize on the opportunity to continue playing for another 2 months here in Auckland before heading back home to Detroit. I believe it was a great decision for me to come into the NzNBL to redeem myself and help this 2nd year team make there way back into the league here. With saying that, we finished up our regular season last night with double wins on the road, ending the season 13-3 in 2nd place (averaging 16pts, 4rebs in 10 games). Which is a major turn around from the team achievements last season. We got a special group of great guys that get along very well with each other and that's always a plus in any league you play in!
So, that brings us here into our last week of practice going into the Playoff/Grand Final game May 26th-27th. (one game elimination) Its going to be a great weekend in Wellington, NZ. Time to lay it all on the line and bring home this CHAMPIONSHIP!!

well im am still here in Australia having a good time in the beautiful city of Melbourne. I finally made it to an Aussi rules football game and it is very exciting.The crowd was over 50,000 people and the atmosphere was great. On the basketball court things have been going well , my team is winning and i am playing well averaging 19 ppg, 6.3rbg, 37%3fg, 45% fg, 71%ft .we are in fourth position on the ladder most of the season so we are right in a good playoff position [read more]

What a great feeling to finish up the 2011/12 year as CHAMPS. Before heading over to NZ, I had one goal in mind. 'WIN'..
