| THE PLAYOFFS - Apr.8, 2012 (by Eurobasket Center) Wooow i havent wrote in here in a while. Well as most hoopers know its about that time of the year. PLAYOFFS. This is a time where the unpredictable happens.anything can happen and any team can be beaten. From this point on what you did in the regular season doesnt count. Everyone is on the same playing field. Im currently in argentina playing for Lanus Buenos Aires now. Wooow i havent wrote in here in a while. We were up almost 20 points but Regatas Corrientes never gave up and fought back to make it a close game. They are a veteran team, so i know it wont be easy playing them the next game at there gym. But i hope its not a long series.
Playing here in argentina has been an experience for me. Every where i have played i have been a leader on the team. But here coming off the bench for the first time in my life is kind of weird because i have never had to come off the bench before. I salute you guys that come off the bench with instant energy and spark the team with instant offense and defense.I have never came off the bench so i didnt know how tough the task was until i came here. I must say its not easy.its no time to get into the flow of the game, its know time for you to get warm. You have to get out there and already be ready to be in the flow of a game. Its like getting on a freeway when everyone else is going 70 mph and you have to get on in your lane and try and match the speed as everyone else and merge into the lanes.you have to be instant offense and instant energy. Im not getting the minutes i want but hey every one has to play a role. I will never get use to coming off the bench role i can tell you that. But next year will be better. Ill be a leader again.
A WISE MAN TOLD ME IN ORDER TO BE A GREAT LEADER YOU FIRST MUST BE A GREAT FOLLOWER

Well its on to the next for me..it didnt take me to long to go to another team after my stint with my old team Club Trouvillen uruguay. My new team on the other hand is in argentina with a team named Lanus Buenos Aires.only been here a few days but i can see that i will fit in nice with the coach's system. only been here a few days and played in 2 games. My first day here i played in a game, it was weird because i never played in a game right off the plane, well not right off but a couple hours after..but the strangest thing occurred. my legs were super fresh.i was dunking and doing dunks i havent done since the beginning of the season...the good news about this team is that i wont have to play 40 minutes a game which is a huge relief. the most i would play is 25 minutes maybe 28 if im having a good game and when i get the plays down pack, cause i only know 4 plays right about now.
Some other good news is that i wont have to score 30-40 points in order for us to win.. I have some real talented players on my team, its atleast 6 players that score in double figures in each game.. Thats real good because all of the scoring does not fall on one or two guys. The people here in Lanus Buenos Aires have welcomed me with open arms, so thats always a good thing.. I have a good coaching, trainer and doctor staff here, which is always a good thing to come by.. Theres a perk here that i havent had since i have been playing basketball. Unlimited gatorades and water, and if you are a hooper u know how good that is. Im not talkin about in a huge jug, im talking about personal bottle gatorades. If you dont know what that is ill tell you #WINNING HAHAHAHAH.
UNTIL NEXT TIME
