Marshall
Hello world, it's Curtis Marshall (196-G/F-83, agency: R.H.Consultancy, college: Texas Tech) back again for another installment of my blogs. A lot has happened in the last few weeks. My official website launched and is up and running as I speak (http://www.MarshallTime.com). The purpose of my website is to show the world a closer look into the life of a professional basketball player, on and off the court. I welcome everyone to take this journey with me. You will see my walk with Christ, my involvement with my family, and also my community outreach efforts. I just want to be a tool that the Lord uses to be an inspiration and motivation to everyone because this is not about me, for greater is He that is in me, than he who is in the world. My last statement basically means I am a child of God, I belong to God, and I have already won against false teachers, for the Spirit in me is stronger than anything in the world. I encourage everyone to check out my website because it will be like no other. Feel free to leave any comments or questions you may have and I will respond back swiftly.

Over the last few weeks life on the court has been up and down. We went 1-2 in our last 3 games and its very hard loosing when we know it was us that caused the loss. It is very hard to win with a lot of turnovers and that is the main reason why we lost these two games. These two games lost were against the number 1 and 2 teams in the league, Boulazac Basket Dordogne and Limoges CSP Elite. They are definitely good teams and I dont want to take anything away from them, but we know we should have beat both of them. We have the talent and the skills to do so, but turnovers have plagued us lately. This still doesnt take away from the bigger picture; we are still looking forward to making the playoffs and making a run for the Championship. Many people might doubt us but we dont care, all that matters is our trust in each other and our motivation to win. If we are the only ones who believe then so be it. That just leaves more room for everyone to know who was really behind it all, GOD!!!! 'Even so faith, if it has not works, is dead, being alone' --James 2:17 It takes more than just believing, there has to be work done on your part. Until next time, Curtis Marshall signing off. With the blessings from God, have a great day!!!!

Tough Days....- Dec.11, 2012  (by Eurobasket Center)

It's been a while since I last wrote a blog. Pardon me I have been on some other stuff. But I'm back and around my way it's been a tough few weeks. 1-4 in our last five games dealing with more injuries and this French weather is no joke. Talk about highs and lows to start the season 6-0 and life is smooth then to go 1-4 your next 5 and seems like the world is crashing down. For me I know the season is long and you can't get to high or to low [read more]
Off to a good start!!- Oct.29, 2012  (by Eurobasket Center)

Just a quick update on how the season is going. After the first month we a sitting at 5-0 and still have room to improve. We also won our first French cup game. I have been playing very well and I'm having fun playing with my teammates. The next couple of weeks will be tough. I suffered a back injury and a dislocated finger. So rest and treatment is in order [read more]
Win or go home- Oct.21, 2012  (by Eurobasket Center)

Many players and all Americans know this and if you don't you will find out quick . The game brings all of "us" players joy and we love the it. But there are things that can be fixed and we can start with clubs giving up on the import players so quick. We all know the local players almost never get released. The first ones to go are the imports (players from a different country then he is playing in) weather your having a good season or not if your team is losing you will be the escape goat [read more]
