Its a city with great basketball culture. With 75000 inhibitants and +20 basketball clubs you have young players in every neiborhood competing their local rivals. Its also my hometown and always a special feeling coaching in Lulea. Were feeling pretty good about the first game. Still theres a number of details to improve in both offence and defence but overall the team played a solid game and it was our best performance with this roster so far. This time its LF Baskets time to protect homecourt and it will be a tough challenge for us, but if we play the best defensive game of the season we have a good chance.
Homecourt was protected in all the games in the first round. Its just sad you dont have time to watch all the other games! All of them interesting games played with talanted players and good coaching!

3rd spot finnish and looking forward to the best time of the year!- Mar.18, 2012 (by Eurobasket Center) Congrats to Norrkoping Dolphins as regular season winners. Congrats to Norrkoping Dolphins as regular season winners. A good squad of experienced players, a good coach in Paul Burke who together with the team overcame injuries and changes in the roster and maintained stability. I think we can be happy with our third spot, it took everything we had to stay afloat at times and we had a good 7 straight win run to secure a top-4 finnish. Unfortunatly were heading in to the play-offs with three lossess but all the credit to the three teams who simply beat us and played better then us. Norrkoping, Sodertalje Kings and LF Basket.
Were now looking forward to a tough QF series against a talanted and skilled LF Basket. It will be a tough series and we need to play at the top of our game to protect our homecourt. Coach Charles Barton has put his teams performance together in perfect timing heading in to the post season. The teams match up well in both size and style. The team that will be able to control the tempo will be the team in charge of the game, transition defence will be a major key. I believe the fans will enjoy it, I hope I will be able to do the same!
All QF series are open and unpredictible, you guys have an interesting play-offs to look forward to!

Weather's beautiful in Sundsvall, around zero degrees celcius, the sun is shining and a white winter landscape surounds us. The last couple of weeks has been really good for us. With Johan Pierre (187-G-89) (187-G-89) back from injury and with the addition of Mark Tyndale (196-G-86, college: Temple) (replacing injured Marcus Johnson (198-F-87, college: USC)) and Nenad Zivcevic (204-F-87) to the team we have been able to raise the intensity level during practise and games and it really shows in our performance. The results has come along with better habits and we're on the right track again.
We had a good game vs skilled Boras Basket yesterday, these guys have talent and chemistry and is a really tough team. One of those games that improves and brings out the best of the players and I know we came out as a better team. The fact that we were able to give our home fans a close and hard fought win makes it a perfect evning.
The swedish league is tight this year, only 4 games seperate the first and seventh team, it really makes it interesting for the fans and media to follow. Playing yesterday and having the opportunity to relax and follow the other games of the round is a nice feeling. No point in hoping for results in other games, all you can do is make sure have a great practise tomorrow again and raise your own level of performance.
Looking forward to next time.
