Hello world,
Welcome back to my blog..... In my last blog My team was scheduled to play game 5 of the 1st round of the playoffs against Abejas at a neutral site in Aguascalientes. In that decisive game we won a hard fought game and advanced to the next round against the best team in Mexico Rojos de Vera Cruz. We started the best of 7 series on the road because they were the higher seed. The crazy thing about beating Abejas and advancing to the next round was the fact that while Rojos rested for about 12 days or so we had to play that game 5 and get on the bus right after to go to Vera Cruz and not only play the following day but also the next... Meaning we had to play Wednesday, Thursday, Friday then travel all Saturday back home and then play Monday and Tuesday and if necessary Wednesday at home. Long story short, we ended up getting swept by Rojos and our season ended earlier than I had planned for it to end. When your season is over there are one of two things on your mind... Getting home to see your family and/or try to figure out what is next!!!!! For me, it was both.... I wanted to get home to see my little princess but I also wanted to find another job immediately to continue to support her.

Everyone who has gone through a whole season knows how it is after it is over, your body is aching from little injuries you played thru the season with and you really need a little rest before jumping back into the fire... I know I did, because I had a jammed thumb and two jammed fingers that I felt pain just holding the basketball let alone trying to pass, dribble, or shoot...

Last week, I got back into the gym and I am in a great rhythm! My shot feels and looks really GREAT! I have no nagging injuries lingering or hindering me from playing at my best and I have no more signs of my back spazzing up from overcompensated trying to keep pressure off the ankle I broke in the summer! I am a free agent looking for a new team at the moment. I look forward to frying on the court soon!

Thanks for stopping by and again reading my blog. I will keep you guys posted and may see some of you soon.
