This is my 3rd season in Europe, and I'm very thankful for the opportunity. In three years of professional basketball every situation is different, and every club has its ups and downs. In Portugal we had a great group of guys but could never figure out a winning chemistry. In Slovakia my first year, with Spisska Nova Ves we won games everyone had a role. We had great team chemistry and very good experienced coach. We came up short in the playoffs due to a plethora of players having nagging injuries which really hindered us. Now in my 3rd season hear in Slovakia Komarno, we are still gelling together, trying to figure out a consistent winning strategy. The coach we have at the moment preaches team first and tries to use an 8-9 man rotation similar to college. Now we are currently half way through the season, and I am uncertain who will be coaching us for the second half of the season. Which is a challenge for us as a team because now we have to be more prepared then ever to answer the challenge amongst each other whenever we step on the court without allowing ourselves to be distracted by off the court issues. Off the court life is great, Komarno is very similar to Spisska so it was not much of a transition. With Christmas break quickly approaching and the start of round 3 around the corner, we are all focused on improving and winning as many games as possible, we know that come playoff time all these games will have an effect on our seeding. We are motivated and need to win for this City and ourselves, I am aware of the disappoint felt here in the first round last season. We will continue to work, and hopefully the fans will continue to be great and make it hard for other teams to play here. As for me I will continue to work extra and try to prepare myself the best that I can, lord willing and help this team win games... Better days are coming to Komarno.. Tonight we prepare to face Spisska at home.. ATTACK KOMARNO, PROTECT THIS HOUSE!!!!!!!!

One Journey Ends/ Another One Begins- Apr.30, 2012  (by Eurobasket Center)

Hello World the time has come, the season is finished. From my first blog, it was all about progression and that is what I feel we have done. This was by far the most rewarding season, I've experienced as a player. So much room to make excuses but still we don't allow ourselves to make one. In the beginning of the season no one thought we would be in the finals but we made it there. It was fun I enjoyed every minute of the competition [read more]
Final Round- Apr.13, 2012  (by Eurobasket Center)

It's been a long great season and this is the part where every team wants to be at the end. Only two teams has made it this far and it comes down on who wants it more. We are going up against the #1 seed in our league. They are a great team and has been playing very well these past few months. They are very deep and have a lot of players who can put up numbers. This series is going to be based on who plays the better defense [read more]
FINALS!!!!!!!!- Apr.12, 2012  (by Eurobasket Center)

Hello world, long time no hear from. In my last blog the journey was just beginning the playoffs where just starting and the team and myself were eager to play. Thus far the playoffs have been interesting, yet very competitive. Although we swept the first two rounds 3-0 the games were competitive. All teams are fighting hard and feel the pressures of the playoffs. Prievidza is the team we will meet in the finals [read more]
