What's up Hungary! I'm back again.. Hoping to bring the same results from my first season in Hungary. The goal every year is the same, to win your last game! Win the championship. This year I'm playing in Falco-Szova KC-Szombathely and I am ready for this season to start. We had a very good preseason filled with lots of practice games. We played in total 11 games. Still with all those practice games we are a team with a lot to learn and a lot of space to grow. This year I have a lot of confidence in our coach. He is very good at getting the players on the same page and very good at building and balancing our teams chemistry. This all came to a point when we played in the tournament at Zalakeramia-ZTE KK. We won every game easily and in the final we were matched up against Kormend. This would be our biggest test of the preseason. We went into that game focused and ready for the challenge. We executed the coaches game plan and won by 33. Very surprising results for the fans. We won this tournament and I was named MVP. I appreciated this a lot and received a NesCafe Coffee machine. Hahaha My teammates always joke now that they are coming over for coffee. We have a great bunch of guys on this team. This should be a good year. It all starts October 8th. We have a home game against Pecs. It's very important to start off with a win. So far as a team we have no predictions. We are just trying to play the best basketball we can, practice hard every practice and get better. If each player practices hard and gives his best then in the end will have no regrets.

Since being back in Hungary I have seen a bunch of my old friends and fans from Zalakeramia-ZTE KK. Shout out to Adam, Benny, Papa, Sara and everyone in Zalagerszeg. I'm sure I will see everyone a lot this year.

One of the best things about being back in Hungary is being back in the home of Gundel. I still haven't had it since I've been here. Before I left hungary the last time I Was invited to the Gundel restaurant in Budapest and I was able to enjoy their food and taste the original gundel. I have to find a good place in Szombathely. If anyone knows a place leave a comment. Thanks for reading and I hope you come check out a game in Szombathely.

Finals!!!!- May.14, 2012  (by Eurobasket Center)

This season has been a great one. At the beginning of the season the goal for this team was to finish in the top 8. As most already know we finished in first place. We set a Falco record with wins in a season and consecutive wins. It's great to be part of a team with this kind of success. We won our third game against Kormend last night in a very difficult, very tiring game [read more]
It all ends in Debrecen- Apr.24, 2012  (by Eurobasket Center)

Who would have ever thought we would make it to the EuroChallenge Final Four?! Me being a player for Szolnok, I definetly did not think we would make it this far. I know its kinda sad that I would think that right? Now that we have made it this far I know we are capable of writing history and becoming the EuroChallenge champions!! My goal for this years EuroChallenge was to make it past the first round [read more]

Washingtonians Hooping in Hungary- Jan.4, 2012  (by Eurobasket Center)

The basketball world is a small one. Every new teammate seems to know someone you do. Whether its a college teammate or someone you played with in high school you can usually come across a common person that has crossed your paths. This can be a great advantage for every hooper in landing your next job or gaining information on a country or team. The vast network that connects us all is a powerful tool that should be harnessed by every player. Its all about networking [read more]
