So with the first round finished and the semi-finals starting tomorrow our team is very far into the playoff mindset. We played our first round against Elitzur Ramla and even though we won in a sweep it was a tough series. Elitzur Ramla is a very tough, veteran team that wasn't willing to end the season easily. The fought and even gave a few intentional fouls as a last resort towards the end of game two. Nir Golan (180-G-86), our point guard and team captain really came up big for us time after time hitting tough shot after tough shot. I swear that kid is a machine. His jump shot is so consistent. Overall our whole team contributed in big ways. Everyone played very well and tough and brought something to each of our wins.

The semi-finals start tomorrow and we play Maccabi Habikaa a team that we split the regular season against. It's going to be a fun series to watch from a basketball fans perspective. A three game series to make it to the championship. We haven't had much rest since the start of the playoffs. I was shocked to see that after completing the first round on Sunday night that they would start the next games Wednesday. Very quick. Then adding the passover celebration Monday night and Tuesday makes for an interesting schedule.

I just came from my managers house to enjoy the holiday with his family and it was a good time. I love the style that they eat, with having foods coming out at different times. I feel like I can eat a lot that way. The first course is just like a warm up and then the real game begins haha.

Well readers, I don't have much to blog about this time around, so this will be a short one. The playoffs are in full effect and that's consuming me right now. I love this time of year. It's my favorite, fast paced games and heavy competition. It gets no better from a competitors point of view. My goal is to come back to my next blog with good news again. I know if its up to Nir then we will be fine. Let's go Yavne!!

Can we bring history to Ashkelon? Final Four? #playoffs- May.13, 2012  (by Eurobasket Center)

Whats up everybody? I am finally feeling motivated to write a new blog. Although the season is nearing its end, the current moment is what it's all about. When the season starts, you go to practice after practice, run sprint after sprint, play game after game just to arrive to the playoffs with the hopes of accomplishing a chip [read more]
Playoff Hunt- Mar.23, 2012  (by Eurobasket Center)

The season is coming to an end soon and my team and I find ourselves fighting for a playoff spot. After we started the season 0-6, it was hard for me early on to see us in this position, during this part of the season. We have worked very hard and at the same time, had deal with a lot of injuries as a team! More than just a couple of guys have been injured, from season ending to something as simple and common as a cold [read more]
Being The Best You Can Be...- Mar.7, 2012  (by Eurobasket Center)

Everyday when I wake up I thank God for allowing me to see another day and to live in his beautiful world, then I think to myself how can I be the best man I can be today? I dont always make the right choices and actually a lot of times I make the wrong ones but thats where you have to ask for forgiveness and for God to show you the right way. I dont see how people can go through there lives each and everyday having an attitude or not being grateful for the blessings of life [read more]
