For the second consecutive year the male population of Iceland is participating in what is being called 'Mustache Month'. This month, last year I noticed the men sporting their mustaches. I asked around and I learned that it started in New York to generate awareness for mens health but particularly prostate cancer.

I think that it is a great idea for a great cause. Many of the players in the league are dawning the stash in support of Mustache Month. I would love to participate in the cause but my mustache growing abilities are not up to par.

This is my first experience of playing basketball overseas. I played a total of a little more than one season in the NBA D-League, and now I feel blessed to have the chance to play for Keflavik in the Iceland Express League [read more]
