This past weekend really got alot of people's attention from around Portugal. We mean business and we are here to stay. Beating one of the top teams again Galitos with a convincing win, the score was 70-55 at their home. The whole game was in our favor from the tip-off to the sound of the buzzer in the 4th Quarter. We led the whole game while we increased our lead every quarter. This game was probably the best defensive game that we presenting to our opponents this year, forcing 25 turnovers and also making 8 block shots. As of now we are on a 5 game wining streak trying to make it 6 next week against Maia Basket. With this past week win, we secured a place in the playoffs win or loss from here on out. But we want more and we will get more. We came together as a team ever since we came from winter break and finally its paying off for the betterment of the team. We prepare this week for another hard nose team as we fly to the mainland and play on saturday, hoping we have smooth flight there. We are currently in 6th place but 1 game away from being in 4th place so this game is very crucial for us to maintain a good seed in the playoffs as well as move us up to 4th.
Getting alot of help from everybody on the team which makes the game easier. My job is becoming easier each game, as I record my second double-double in row with 16 points 12assist 4steals and 5 rebounds. My former college teammate Durrell Nevels got Eurobasket Player of the Week last week recording 27 points, 17 rebounds and 4 block shots making him the leader in blocks and rebounds in the league. So as you see our team is very focused to prove the world wrong. At first we were nobodys that made a upstart victories. But now them upstart victories turned us into a championship contender, and us being that contender is giving the confidence to win.

Always remember (We are doing the impossible; what nobody can do somebody does)...
Have a safe, fun week and until next time. Xau.

Heart+Determination+Focus= 2 Wins- Jan.17, 2012  (by Nate)

As we enter the 2012 year, round 2 without any true center we had no where to look or turn but ourselves. Everybody knows that having a true center is a must when you want to go far and win games. But as we wait on our team to get him we put together 2 nice wins. We buckled down as a unit and just got the job done. These 2 wins was by far the best because our whole team mentality was different, and if you was there you could tell [read more]
Tough L's But Its A Long Season- Dec.7, 2011  (by Nate)

We as a team have been going through a bit of a rough patch some might call it. But the beauty of that is that we have enough ample time to build from our mistakes. We droped a few close games that we needed on the road and at home. But thats in the past, so we must prepare and close out the first half of the season with a bit of a bright note. As we enter this week we get ready to enter another cup game against I beileve Alges [read more]

1. First off thanks for doing the interview Nate.... let me start off by asking about your childhood... tell me what was it like growing up in Kansas City and what could we find you doing as a youngster back in the day? You welcome man no problem, I enjoy and appreciate this interview; with all this ample time on my hands I dont mind doing a few interviews a week. Well back in the day I was all about basketball and nothing else. Basketball was installed in me since I was little kid [read more]
