All I can say right now is that you should have believed what I said!!!! If you read my last blog you would know what I mean. I said that once we get our injured players back that we will be a team to be reckoned with. We have won our last two games before the Christmas break and I am so proud of my team. These last two games everyone stepped up and did what they had to do to get the wins. I must say having Laszlo Czigler (215-C-71, agency: Laszlo Vinko Services) on the court makes a very big difference. Im so happy he has recovered from his surgery and is back with us. Its always a plus to have a 7 footer on the court. I dont want to take away from my other teammates because we need everyone in order to be successful. The highlight of the week was our great win against higher ranked Kecskemeti Univer KSE 75-77. Everyone on the team stepped up offensively and defensively to get this tough and well needed win on the road. Nobody thought we would win, but we sure did!!!! The Kansas St. killer is back!!!! I know nobody knows what Im talking about, so I will explain. I hit the game winning shot at Kansas St. when I played for Texas Tech. It was almost the same situation at Kecskemeti Univer KSE, except I hit a 3 point shot with 14 seconds left.

Now that my family is here Im so happy and have extra motivation to get on the court and get these wins. Its been a rough week for me since my 11 month old daughter has not adjusted to the time difference yet. She be wide awake, full of energy, and wanting to play when its time to sleep. I would rather be tired with my family then be sleep by myself. All I can do is push on and keep enjoying my family.

I would like to give thanks to my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ for giving me and my team everything we need to get these wins. 'Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours' Mark 11:24. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all, until next time, Curtis Marshall (196-G/F-83, agency: R.H.Consultancy, college: Texas Tech) signing off, God Bless!!!!

Finals!!!!- May.14, 2012  (by Eurobasket Center)

This season has been a great one. At the beginning of the season the goal for this team was to finish in the top 8. As most already know we finished in first place. We set a Falco record with wins in a season and consecutive wins. It's great to be part of a team with this kind of success. We won our third game against Kormend last night in a very difficult, very tiring game [read more]
It all ends in Debrecen- Apr.24, 2012  (by Eurobasket Center)

Who would have ever thought we would make it to the EuroChallenge Final Four?! Me being a player for Szolnok, I definetly did not think we would make it this far. I know its kinda sad that I would think that right? Now that we have made it this far I know we are capable of writing history and becoming the EuroChallenge champions!! My goal for this years EuroChallenge was to make it past the first round [read more]

Washingtonians Hooping in Hungary- Jan.4, 2012  (by Eurobasket Center)

The basketball world is a small one. Every new teammate seems to know someone you do. Whether its a college teammate or someone you played with in high school you can usually come across a common person that has crossed your paths. This can be a great advantage for every hooper in landing your next job or gaining information on a country or team. The vast network that connects us all is a powerful tool that should be harnessed by every player. Its all about networking [read more]
