Corey Belser
Sure! Well, please allow me to informally introduce myself. My name is Corey Belser (200-F-82, college: San Diego) (200-F-82, college: San Diego) (200-F-82, college: San Diego), I am a graduate of the University of San Diego located in sunny and beautiful Southern California. I am a product of Spanaway, Washington's Bethel High School coached by Pat Mullen. Spanaway aka 253 is located about an hour South of Seattle. Including the Belser family there is a large population of military families located in Spanaway. Much respect to my parents and all the troops around the world especially those stationed at Fort Lewis Army and McChord Air Force Base! I owe a lot of my success to Soldiers Field house pick-up games!

I am currently living and playing in Helsinki, Finland playing for the Honka Espoo Playboys, unfortunately no connection Mr. Hugh Hefner, just the mobile giant Nokia! For those not familiar with Helsinki, I would summarize it as a truest Scandinavian Western European country, most of the people speak perfect fluent english. Not that speaking english categorizes it as Western but it's a very thriving modern city! It gets extremely cold and my car sitting in about 3ft of snow right now!

As a team we have a lot talent John Williamson (198-C-86, college: Cincinnati) and Jamar Wilson (185-G-84, college: Albany) along with 3 Finnish National team players Jukka Matinen (203-F-78), Tuomas Iisalo (195-G-82, agency: Court Side) and Ville Makalainen (194-F-85, agency: Pro Partner Sports Management). We are on the road this week. It's funny though, we are headed today to play the current worst team in Finland then to Moscow to play one of the best teams and best history in European history CSKA Moscow in the VTB United League. I asked Steve Burtt (185-G-84, college: Iona) currently playing for Dnipro Dnepropetrovsk in Ukraine, what's the scouting report for CSKA since he just played them a week ago. He gave me some great adive 'Don't get blown out' realistically though, he's right......right? There budget trumps us by a Million plus, but I am never afraid to take on a Goliath. Stay tuned Corey Belser singing out............

HYVAA JOULUA- Dec.26, 2012  (by Eurobasket Center)

Hello there, it is time for a little break, time to spend time with family and relax, but as a coach time to look back, analyze-learn and starting preparations for the games after the break. Basketball has been is a struggle lately, the results ( three game losing streak!) are one thing, but even more worrying is our health situation [read more]
Its been a long time since..- Oct.23, 2012  (by Eurobasket Center)

No excuses, by bad, mitt fel, mun vika. Have no reason what so ever for this long an absence from this blog. Sorry! Any way, made it with the national team, had some great games (like beating Belgium by 37 and beating Poland at Koszalin) and finished at the top of the group with 6-2 record. So we will be in Slovenia to compete in the Eurobasket 2013 and compete , not participate , is the main word here [read more]
The Next Chapter.- Aug.28, 2012  (by Eurobasket Center)

Its been a very long time since I last posted on this blog. Ive had a battle back and forth to whether Ill even continue playing the great game of basketball as a professional. Getting to this point has been a lifelong dream of mine, one I have pictured over and over since I was a little kid, so to hang up the sneakers now seems surreal. But it appears that I may not have a choice and Ill let what will be, be and know that it will work out. So here is why Ive come to this point [read more]
