first off Happy 4th of July for everyone who celebrates it.... well the summer months of vacation are winding down and it is almost time to make moves back over across the water for the 2010-2011 season so I just wanted to touch base and give some thoughts of my summer and what going into the new year will mean to me where ever I may wind up for the upcoming season. Looking back I am beginning to realize that these years are catching up and it is crazy how quick time is flying. I cant help but sit here and wonder where the time has gone. It seems like yesterday I was in the regionliga as a rookie trying to make a name for myself. Looking back in restropect I have to be thankful for all the opportunities that have came my way coming from a division 2 program without big numbers. My goal when I first came over was to win games and put up big numbers, now as a veteran (experienced player) my goal is to come in and help out a team in any possible way. At this stage in my career it is more about survival and getting in where I fit in and helping younger players, and using my experience as my advantage. It is about taking advantage of an opportunity in front of you. It is about doing what the team needs and how you fit in with your teammates. Either way, I want and look forward to taking more of a leadership role in whatever situation I will be in. Last season I was fortunate to be in a situation where I was able to show off my skills and put myself in a situation to where I may get a contract for next season at a higher level. It was a great season to be a part of in Crailsheim and I am happy they gave me the chance to be part of there team this past season. The fans were great and it was an experience of a lifetime being there.... I wish them the best of luck for the upcoming season. Congrats to all the people who have signed so far and best of luck to all the clubs finding the player they want. Anyhow, i know this blog was boring for the most part filled with obvious info.. but hey thats what im here for... to do a blog..... maybe the next one will be better.. till next time.

Heading back to the states...awaiting the next chapter- Apr.9, 2012  (by Eurobasket Center)

So the season has finally come to an end. Although we had a strong second half of the year we were unable to do all that we wanted to do. I think I had a solid first year individually but always think I could have done better. I am already looking forward to see where we will be next season. I definitely had a blast in my first season overseas. I made a lot of friends, saw a lot of places, improved different aspects of my game and opened myself up to new experiences [read more]

I'm 34 and your point is.....- Apr.5, 2012  (by Eurobasket Center)

So a close friend of mine the other day asked me what do you do want to do when you finish playing basketball? I thought for a second, and I really didnt have a clear answer or anything I could really say back to him. It is sort of funny cause my whole life I have been playing this game that I grew up to love and to be honest it is almost that time where I need to make that decision [read more]
Trying to finish strong- Feb.20, 2012  (by Eurobasket Center)

Whats up everyone. Its been awhile since my last post so I wanted to fill everyone in. Recently we have been playing much better and have a legit shot to stay in Pro A despite the fact that a lot of people had no doubt at all we would move down to pro A due to lack of experienced players. This is understandable considering starting the season we were the only team in the league without 1 player who had pro A experience [read more]
